The Updated Living Well Planner is here! I can’t wait to show you all the awesomeness this planner has to offer!

The Living Well Planner is all inclusive with meal planning and budgeting built right in. See the review to see all the features of the Living Well Planner by Ruth Soukup and Living Well Spending Less. #livingwellplanner #livingwellspendingless #plannerreview #weeklyplanner

This planner is no longer available. In 2024, Ruth Soukup closed Living Well Spending Less, including the Living Well Planner. Rather than have you land on an error page, I figured it was better to just let you know that you can’t get it anymore.

Well, I don’t need to tell you that life can just get crazy sometimes. I’ve definitely been thrown for a loop the past couple months (which is why it has been so long since I’ve posted)! But I’ve missed writing and I’m hoping to have some awesome stuff coming soon!

But… during all the crazy, I got my new Living Well Planner! I’ve been so excited to share it with you guys! Seriously, the new design is so pretty!

My Favorite Things

I know I already mentioned it, but the floral patterns are awesome! The background is a dark navy blue, which is a great contrast to the bright flowers!

This a durable planner! It’s got a hard cover, with metal reinforcements on the corners. It was built to last at least through the whole year!

The extra pages are still what sets this planner apart from any other planner I’ve seen! There are multiple goal setting pages, budgeting and expense tracking, gratitude and thanks, and of course plenty of space for notes! And there is space on the weekly pages for meal planning too. Just sayin. This planner has got everything covered.

The Downside

The biggest downside to me is also one of the benefits: This planner is a beast. It is heavy and not the best if you want to be able to carry your planner around with you. This one is much better suited to be left on a desk, coffee table, or kitchen counter.

Although we were told that the paper would be significantly thicker, I have a hard time being able to tell the difference. That being said, the paper is thick enough for normal use. I’m just a paper snob. 😛

The last think I want to mention is the rings. Now this double-wire binding style is not my favorite. I think it looks beautiful, but can make it hard to turn pages, and especially to turn the notebook inside out (so the covers are touching). In fact, it’s nearly impossible to do it. But I have no issue with the quality of them. They are sturdy and I don’t have any doubts that they will last at least a year (but most likely much longer than that. I’ve never had these break on me). I also acknowledge that when you want a hard cover like this, your binding options are pretty limited. So really, what other choice was there?

Freebies & Extra Accessories

I mentioned the stickers in my last review of the Living Well Planner. The colors match the rest of the planner colors perfectly. I only wish there were more options instead of the same three sheets that are sold in a set.

As part of the presale, I also received two of her sticky notepads, the Daily Do It and Weekly Wizard. In my opinion, the functionality of these notepads outshine even the planner! For starters, the fact that they are sticky notes is excellent. And not the cheap-leaves-residue-on-the-note-under-it kind, but actually good sticky notes!

And I have a *slight* obsession with sticky notes, and I’m really picky about the quality too.

These are perfect for prioritizing your days and weeks! I love prioritizing tasks. Really, it’s so important to know which tasks really need to get done, and which ones are optional!

The only thing I would change about them would be to remove the magnet from the back. It’s pretty useless since the weight of the pad is far heavier than the magnet can hold. Plus I’ve never been someone who wanted to hang notepads on the fridge or file cabinet. I’d rather just have it sitting on my desk.

*Update: I put them on a different filing cabinet and they are holding up much better. So it might have had more to do with the quality of the first filing cabinet that I tried them on.*

Who it is best for:

If you have a crazy schedule and have multiple appointments at specific times, this would be great for keeping track of it all.

Anyone running a household would probably love all the added features, like the meal planning and budget pages.

The hourly weekly pages are also great for anyone who likes to use time blocking to be productive.

I’m constantly impressed with the amount of things that can be tracked in the Living Well Planner! Ruth has done an amazing job of including just about everything that you’d need inside a single planner! If you are looking for one planner that can hold it all, this might just be the one you need!
