The Petite Planners from Erin Condren are one of my go to planning systems for staying organized. So let’s talk about my On the Go Folio Setup for 2021.
Have you used the On the Go Folio or Petite Planners? Because I’m obsessed. I LOVE the size of the Petite Planners. And I love being able to put any four of them together in the On the Go Folio to create the planner I need.
This is not my main planner. I totally need the full size LifePlanner to stay organized too. But it is the type of system that if it works for you, it could be the only planner someone needed.
The main way that I use the On the Go Folio system is for supplemental planners. You know, for those smaller categories that don’t need a full big planner for themselves, but also may not fit in my LifePlanner. The Petite Planners and On the Go Folio Setup have been perfect for those areas.

Basic info about my On the Go Folio Setup
This year I’m using the Layers On the Go Folio. At least for now. I have quite a few Folios so I may switch at some point.
The other main accessory that I use is the On the Go Folio organizer insert. I don’t have a lot of reason for this being here, except that it’s a place for me to put in pretty things to look at… like a dashboard.
Another thing I’ve done before and really like when it is useful, is adding sticky pockets on the inside covers. I like the medium ones (not sure why it’s called medium since there isn’t a small), but the large ones also fit. I feel like the large ones got a little more bent from being too close to the center, but they do still fit. So that’s my opinion based on my experience with each size.
I also added the Hello Kitty charm. Because, Hello Kitty. *another thing I’m obsessed with*
Which Petite Planners I’m Using in my On the Go Folio Setup
Daily Petite Planners
I’m not a super busy person. Especially once you take away work stuff. Large daily planners are just too much for me, but I love the smaller size of the Petite Dailies. It gives me enough room to write the things I need to get done, but it’s not so big that it’s just overkill.
Since I have my monthly view in my LifePlanner, I use the monthly in the Petite Daily to record the hours I work for my timesheet.
Wellness Planner
The Wellness Petite Planner is one of my favorites! I love that there is room for tracking all my meals, movement/exercise, and other health related habits (like sleep).
And every month there is a check-in spread to evaluate the progress you’ve made and what you can continue to work on in the future.
I’ve been realizing how important it is to take care of myself, and this has been the perfect planner for me to track all my health related progress and goals.
Meal Planner
The Petite Meal Planner is the perfect example of something that I need to have a place for, but just doesn’t seem to fit in my weekly planner.
There is space for all three meals each week, a shopping list, and meal prep notes. I don’t usually plan lunch, or really breakfast either, so I repurpose each week to cover two weeks.
The breakfast column stays as breakfast, but instead of planning definitive meals, I just list off a few ideas of things I can eat for breakfast.
The lunch and dinner columns become two weeks worth of dinners. I number the boxes with the dates so I know which day is each.
I don’t strictly stick to this. If something comes up or I want to make something else, I stay flexible. But having an idea of what could be made helps me from wasting time trying to figure out something at the last minute.
Petite Journal
I also choose to include a dot grid Petite Journal in my On the Go Folio. This is for all the random information that I need to keep handy, and just don’t have anywhere else to put it. I have notes about the employees I work with (like start dates and PTO used… not stalker info 😂), and details that I need to remember for my cousin’s upcoming wedding. Just to name a few of the things I keep there.
This isn’t a to do list, this is more for reference. I keep my to do lists in my Bullet Journal (that post is coming soon too!).
Final Thoughts
Using this On the Go Folio Setup has solved the problem of dealing with smaller details that don’t fit neatly in my regular planner. I can give each area the room it needs, without having to feel like I’ve got dozens of planner to keep up with. I mean, I like using multiple planners, but there’s only so much I can handle before it becomes too much. This system makes it easy to access what I need, when I need it, but not have it cluttering up my planner, or my desk.
