Family Gifts
My family is extremely important to me. I’ve actually quit multiple jobs and moved three states over just to be closer to my family. They are the most important people in my life, and I love to find things that we can do to spend more time together.
Erin Condren has come out with some fun activities that are perfect for spending more time together and creating new memories.
I’m so excited about this first gift idea because it’s something I’ve been doing almost this entire year…
Puzzles!
I’ve done so many puzzles this year! And I know I’m not the only one. I’ve heard soooo many other people tell me they have started doing puzzles again (or for the first time) this year too!
Erin Condren has four different puzzles to choose from. I have the Colorful Layers, which is perfect for me. I love puzzles with pops of color like this. It was so fun to put together and would be the perfect activity to do together.
They are a great technology-free way to spend time together. Plus, for me, they are even a type of self care. My brain works in overdrive almost constantly. But when I’m doing a puzzle I have something to focus on, that doesn’t stress me out.
Playing Cards
These beautiful playing cards are another way to spend time with family and friends, device free. I love things we can do as a family without technology.
The cards are decorated with 26 beautiful Pantone colors, in a gradient through the different suits. Plus they come in a sturdy and beautiful slide out box with the Mid-Century Circles pattern.
Fold Out Glitter Ornaments
Technically I think these are called Honeycomb Decorations.
I’m including this in the family time section because one of my favorite things to do is to decorate for the holidays with my Mom.
The ornaments are made out of study card stock, and have glitter around the edges giving them just a hint of sparkle. Some of you may have seen these with the Fall Seasonal Surprise Box. Well they are back, and there are a whole lot more of them to choose from!
They are available in so many different colors, shapes, and sizes that can be mixed and matched to go with any of your holiday decor.
One of my favorite features of these is that they are held open with tiny magnets. This makes them reusable, and also easily stored without taking up much room (because you can fold them back up when not using them).
Having lived in an apartment for many years, I know how valuable space can be, and these are perfect for making a big impact when open, but not taking up as much room as that collection of clearance wrapping paper that you just couldn’t say no to. Just me? Okay.
Gifts for Individuals
This has been a rough year in more than one way. I’m sure we all know someone who needs a little extra love this year. These gifts range from $12-40, and they are all an extra special way that you can treat those you love.
What I love about these is that they are different than other things you can find. The beaded box is the perfect example of something unique that can become a treasure to someone who deserves something special this year.
Enamel PopGrip
These are so cool! I love that they have the same enamel finish as pins, making them super durable and beautiful! They feel more luxury than the standard PopSockets.
There are two new designs, Metallic Starry Sky (gray and gold) and Dream Plan Do (purple and silver).
It will stick on your phone incredibly well, but is also removable if you decide to change phone cases. They also have the interchangable tops so you can switch out between different designs.
Layers Beaded Box
This is one of my favorite products in this holiday gift guide, and in this EC Launch (along with the next thing I’m going to talk about)!
It’s the Layers Beaded Box. And I can’t even tell you how beautiful this it is! For those that remember, there was a beaded coin purse that was a freebie option for those that ordered on LifePlanner Launch Day last April. This is the same beaded design, only on a gorgeous box. The detail is amazing!
The outside edges are glass, which just makes it feel that much more special. The bottom and inside are lined with teal fabric. It’s a one compartment box; it’s not divided into any sections.
There is also a clutch with the same beaded pattern, if that is more your style.
Clutch
I love this suede clutch!! This thing is incredible! I love the feel of the black suede and the silver glitter flakes make it perfect for holiday parties… which we hope we will get to go to again someday.
There is a gold zipper that runs down two sides of the clutch. And this is genuine leather, which makes it so soft and gives off that amazing leather smell.
Inside is lined in gray fabric. There are pockets for your phone and six cards. I was able to get my large phone in the pocket, but it was tight. Especially at the top where it zipped up. But smaller phones (even smaller smart phones- I have an iPhone Plus) should fit just fine. And those that don’t can easily be held in the main section of the clutch. It’s the perfect size to just toss in a few essentials and take with you on the go.
Bookmark
These Metal Script Bookmarks are something I didn’t expect to like so much. I don’t really use bookmarks much when I’m reading. They fall out and get lost. Although this one has a clip, so I doubt it would fall out. But just in general, I’m not used to using bookmarks when I’m reading.
What I quickly realized with these though, is that they are also really pretty decorations on your planner. I got the silver one that says “believe.” It’s really pretty, and sturdy. The back has a clip that can be used to hold multiple pages behind it. It is even thick enough to put over the cover of your On the Go Folio. I put mine over my interchangable cover, and it added a really nice touch to it. And I think that’s where I’ll keep it.
I’m always for something that is inspiring. in addition to the one I have, there is also a rose gold bookmark that says “create” and a gold one that says “plan.” Each is optimistic and encourages hope for the future. I love the idea of having it in front where I can see it every day.
Planning for the New Year
While January 1st isn’t going to be a magic solution to make all the problems in the world solved. Sometimes we just personally need something like a new year to make a change and create a fresh start for ourselves. So it is only fitting to include planners on this holiday gift guide.
Erin Condren has recently released many new planners for 2021 to fit any style of planning. From the classic LifePlanner to the new minimal Focused Planners and the Petite Planner system.
2020 has been a hard year. And while there is no guarantee of what’s to come in 2021, we always have the choice to do our best to create the best life we can. We choose how we react. And planning has always helped me to make the best of a situation. It helps me plan for a future that gives me hope, even when the present is hard.
And whether you are shopping for yourself or someone else, planners are perfect for helping us to stay motivated and on task to get the most important things done. And they can be a creative outlet for so many as well.
Monthly Planner
The Monthly Planner is one of my favorite planners that Erin Condren sells! I have been using them for different purposes for a couple years now, and I love the versatility that they offer to fit so many different needs. That makes it perfect for a gift because they can make it into anything they need for 2021.
If you aren’t familiar with the Monthly Planners, they contain a monthly calendar for each of the 12 months, followed by a lined notes page and sectioned notes page. Then within each monthly tab there are 9 more notes pages. Technically the last one goes to the next month, so you actually have an additional notes page before the tabbed divider.
You can turn them into anything that you want. With just simple lined pages, there is plenty of room to create what you need. Many people use them for budget planners. I love using mine for content planning for this blog, my YouTube channel, and social media.
Also, this is one of the new covers that were recently released. I love the foiled accents, and it is just beautiful! It comes in 4 different colors, so there’s sure to be something for everyone’s style!
A5 Coiled planners
I’m so excited about these!! For awhile now people have been asking Erin Condren to make a smaller planner, and some have even been coiling their Petite Planners.
We finally have what, I hope, is the start of more A5 coiled planners! Just a few days ago EC also released the coiled Hello Kitty Kindness Journal! And I’m so excited that there are more A5 coiled planners coming during this Holiday Launch!
I’m excited to see if the covers are also interchangable, or if that’s a future option. I’m also wondering if we will soon see a LifePlanner in this size…
Softbound Planners
While not new for this lauch, this year I’m really excited about the Softbound LifePlanners! They have some beautiful covers (shimmer white!), and lots of interior options!
I love the option of having a lighter weight planner that is easy to toss in your bag and go, while still having all the function of the coiled LifePlanners.
Additional Products I’m Excited About
These are some of the products that I’ve heard about, but don’t actually have yet. So I don’t have pictures of them quite yet. However, I will link to them on the website, and add pictures as soon as I can. But I just couldn’t leave them off this holiday gift guide because I’m so excited about them!
Zipper Hoodie
This one isn’t a total surprise, since they have been giving sneak peeks since the recent newsletter started going out with orders a few weeks ago.
I’ve heard from the EC employees that have them already, that the new hoodie and jogger pants are super comfortable and soft! It just sounds so cozy right now to snuggle up in a soft, warm hoodie! They are perfect for the cold days when we are lounging around the house, or working from home; since so many are doing that now.
Metallic Black Suede Planner Tote
Since I got the Metallic Black Suede Clutch, I know what this material feels like, and I just know this tote with the same material is going to be amazing!
These planner tote bags can hold so much stuff (there’s even a designated place for your water bottle)! And the metallic black is so pretty! This is definitely a luxury bag that would be perfect for a gift, even if it is to yourself.
