You can never have too many notebooks. Or pens. And today Erin Condren is launching a new line of coiled notebooks and writing tools (so many new pens!), plus a bunch of other organizing tools and accessories. And I can’t wait to share all the details with you!
These products were sent to me for free from Erin Condren. All opinions are honest and my own. I choose to use and promote Erin Condren products because I love them and have found them to be helpful for keeping my life organized.
New Erin Condren Notebooks & Writing Tools
I’m such a stationary addict! And I’m guessing since you are here, you are too. I love having every possible pen (you’ll never know when it will be the perfect one) and notebooks galore. You can never have too many notebooks. I’m always thinking of a reason why I need a new notebook.
Journals, project planning, random notes, to do lists… all great reasons to get a new notebook. And there are a hundred different kinds of journals, and dozens of new projects that would love to be self contained in it’s own brand new notebook, and my brain will never stop thinking of things that I just need to write down right now.
But since you probably didn’t come to hear me just talk about how much I love notebooks and pens, let’s just get into the new Erin Condren products that are launching today!
You can see all the new products in my YouTube Video too.
Erin Condren Notebooks
Erin Condren has been offering coiled notebooks for years now. Since before I started using Erin Condren products. In fact, the first thing I purchased from Erin Condren was a notebook. I used it for my budget. I love these notebooks!
For the most part, they haven’t changed much. Last year they started offering more choices for interior page options (graph and blank paper, in addition the the other options of lined, dot grid, and productivity). And each notebook comes with a sheet of label stickers in the back.
A5 Notebooks!
But this year is my favorite change ever! They are releasing the long awaited A5 notebooks!
These are available with the lined or productivity layout. And include 160 pages. Plus just like the larger notebooks, they also include a sheet of stickers in the back.
Last year they released a few limited edition versions of these A5 notebooks. I purchased some and I’ve been obsessed with the size and same EC quality of their planners.
I have one that I’ve been using as a journal and scrapbook. I use my HP Sprocket Printer to print out any photos from the day that I want to remember, and I can just stick them into the notebook and journal around it. Plus I’ll throw in a few stickers for fun.
I’m so excited that these smaller notebooks will now be available regularly!
New Covers
There are also new covers being released for all sizes of notebooks (and planners too). I’m so excited to see more vegan leather covers, especially on notebooks! These covers just feel so nice! I love them and think they give the notebooks a more luxurious feel.
This new floral vegan leather cover is so pretty! I love how it looks with the embossed text on the front! Plus, this design is also available as a laminated interchangable cover too.
The vegan leather covers are only available for the 7×9 notebooks and planners. Maybe someday we will get them for the other sizes too!
But in addition to the vegan leather covers, there are also some beautiful new interchangable cover designs being released for all sizes. These new covers are only available on the notebooks and planners.
I have a couple of the new designs in the A5 size to show you, and I just love them! I’ve spent years building my collection of 7×9 covers, but the designs for A5 are still more limited. So I’m really excited to see these new designs available in A5, and I’m sure there are more to come!
A5 Coiled Address Book
And while we are talking about notebooks, another new product is the A5 Coiled Address Book!
It has alphabetical dividers to make it easier to find the contact that you are looking for later. And I love the amount of room that there is for each contact! In addition to the basics like name, birthday, email, phone, and address, there are also extra lines for any additional info you want to note for that person. I always feel like I’m trying to squeeze in all the info, so I love this extra space that makes it easy to have everything you need in one place.
There is also a page in the front for important dates, and a page in the back for emergency and important contacts.
Erin Condren has released address books before, but this is my favorite one yet. I love the A5 size. Plus, I kinda think that coils are my favorite. I love being able to flip the book so only half is visible at a time. Check out the New Coiled A5 Address Book here.
New Writing Tools
There are sooo many new pens, markers, and highlighters to show you! Just when I thought that EC had done every possible writing tool possible, they came up with so many more varieties!
Some of my favorites are all the dual tip pen varieties. I’m realizing that I really love pens with dual tips because I can have more pens in less space. There are three different versions of new dual tip pens, and EC nailed them! The colors are so pretty, and the functionality is really thought out.
Here is my pen test of all the new writing tools:
Dual Tip List Marker Stamp Duo – Set of 2 (3 sets available)
These Dual Tip List Marker Duos were a sneak peek from the Winter Seasonal Surprise Box. Now they are available in 6 new colors!
One side of each marker is a stamp that is perfect for making lists. While the opposite side is a black felt tip pen.
Each set has two dual tip markers. And there are three different colored sets available: kelly green/cerulean, hot pink/purple, and red/nectarine. You can also get all three sets in a bundle.
The stamps on each set are the same- each one has a circle and an asterisk.
Dual Tip Dual Ink Gem Markers with Fine & Chisel Tips- Set of 6
These Dual Tip Dual Ink Gem Markers are such a great idea! One side has a bold jewel toned marker (highlighter?) with a chisel tip. The opposite side has a matching colored fine tip felt pen.
I love the functionality of having a highlighter and regular pen in just one pen (the next ones I talk about are similar in this too). And I love the matching colors between both sides of the pen!
Dual Tip Dual Ink Pastel Highlighters & Black Ink Fine Tips – Set of 6
Like I mentioned, these Dual Tip Dual Ink Pastel Highlighters are very similar to the ones above, with just a few differences.
First, all the fine tip pens in this set are all black. And these markers are more like standard highlighters, with beautiful pastel colors.
Ballpoint Click Pen (Black Ink)- Set of 3
I love these new Ballpoint Clicker Pens! I’m really picky with ballpoint pens. Most of them I don’t like much. Simply because the ink is usually more faded than gel or felt tip pens, and because they don’t usually write as smoothly.
However, these ballpoint pens are really nice. Not only do they feel nice to hold, but they write so smoothly and the ink comes out dark and solid! These are definitely pens that I would recommend, even for those who prefer gel ink.
Ballpoint Metallic Clicker Pens (Black Ink) – Set of 2 (silver/gold)
There are a few things that I really like about this set of Metallic Clicker Pens, but also a few things where they just don’t live up to the other ballpoint pens I just mentioned.
I love the silver and gold colors on these pens, as well as the side button for retracting the pen when you are done using it. It actually has a very satisfying click to it. So for all the fellow pen-clickers out there, I was having a lot of fun clicking them. 😂
However, I was really wishing they were metal. I love the metallic look, and having them be actual metal instead of plastic would have made them so much more elegant.
Also, they just don’t write as well as the other Ballpoint Click Pens. They do write as well as many standard ballpoint pens though. They aren’t a bad pen by any means, but I would put them more in the average category.
Metallic Markers – Set of 10
These Metallic Markers were a complete shock to me (in the best way possible)! By looking at them I was expecting a thin tip felt pen, similar to other fine tip pens that Erin Condren has released.
Especially because I’ve seen these markers sneaked in some of the pictures EC has posted, either in emails or on IG. I just didn’t know what they were.
These are so cool! And they write on black papers! In fact, there is a white one that will only write on white paper. Actually, I should try it on other colors of paper too. I’m sure it’ll show up on any darker paper.
The markers themselves are really skinny, which surprised me at how thick the tips actually are. I would compare the size to a regular Sharpie. Or the thick side of the Dual Tip Markers.
These are so much fun and I’m so excited to see what people create using them!
New Organization Tools
In addition to new notebooks and writing tools, there are also a lot of new accessories being released today!
Vegan Leather Stand Up Padfolio (and Refill Notepads)
Not a brand new product, but recently released is this Vegan Leather Stand-up Padfolio. It comes with a large notepad with a weekly view and a perforated checklist on the side. You can also get refills of the same style notepad, or switch it up with the priorities list notepad (I love the gradient purple design)! The paper on each notepad feels just like the same paper that is in the Erin Condren planners.
The Padfolio itself is really nice. It is a rose gold vegan leather that folds up into a portfolio style book that can be take with you if needed. But also has creases built in so it can stand up on your desk.
I was wondering how sturdy it would be while standing, and it seems very secure. It doesn’t seem like it would fall over easily, which I love.
This is an great way to have your weekly plans or family calendar on display where it can be easily seen.
Small Acrylic Desk Organizer
The Small Acrylic Desk Organizer line is expanding with this new piece that is perfect for holding many of your pens within sight. I love the slanted angle of the compartments to keep pens in and allow them to be seen all at the same time.
Like with the other acrylic desk pieces, this one also has rubber grips on the bottom to help keep it in place on your desk.
There’s also a larger version that can also hold your planner or a few books, along with the same design for holding pens and writing tools.
Organizing Caddy
I love this new Organizer Caddy! It is great for organizing your planner or craft supplies.
The purple color is beautiful (my favorite!) with a simple Mid-Century Circles pattern on the sides. The plastic is thick and durable. It can hold so much!
It even includes three removable dividers to customize the space to better fit what you need to store in it. Once the dividers are removed, those larger spaces can hold notepads, sticker books, and even the On The Go Folio and Petite Planners.
New Planner Accessories
Sticky Note Roll
I love sticky notes and this Sticky Note Roll is such a great idea! Instead of individual sticky notes, this roll is one continuous sticky note. The entire backing is sticky.
Because it is on a roll, you can also choose how much or how little you want at a time. And the dispenser can open, which I’m hoping means they will be coming out with refills and other designs.
Asterisk Pen Clip
This fun Asterisk Pen Clip looks so cute on the front of notebooks or planners. They come in gold, silver, and rose gold. And I love that the pen loop part is stretchy so it will fit various sizes of pens perfectly.
Sticky Pockets
These cute little sticky pockets sneak peeked in the Winter Seasonal Surprise Box. I placed mine from that box on the inside cover of my Year Over Year Journal and I use it to hold a bookmark that my Grama gave me.
There are new variations now available to purchase, and they come in a pack of two. I love the beautiful colors! The Colorblends patterns that we’ve been seeing on products like the Petite Planners are always so pretty!
Shown is the Rainbow design. There are also Sunset (pinks) and Twilight (purples) sets.
My favorite feature is that the stitching around the edges is real, and not just a printed design. I also love that the entire backing is sticky and they stay on to whatever you attach them to really well.
S’well Water Bottles
I might have a problem with water bottles. I kind of like them a lot (I think that seems to be the theme for this whole launch- it’s a lot of my favorite things!)
These S’well Bottles are 17 oz, and triple insulated to keep your drink hot for 18 hours or cold for 36! Living in an area that gets really hot during the summer, I love bottles that will keep my water cold, even when it sits in the car while I’m running errands.
There are two designs, Blooms (which is the one shown above) and Mid Century Circles.
Erin Condren Notebooks, Writing Tools, and Accessories
There are so many fun new products with this launch! I think I’m mostly excited about the A5 notebooks and all the new pens!
