Stay Organized
I’m not really a fan of the constantly busy lifestyle. I like my downtime. My goal with organization the past few years has been to find tools that help me keep things, well, organized. I can’t do that with when I try to put EVERYTHING into the same planner. And this was a hard lesson for me to learn. I really liked the idea of having all parts of my life in the same place. But it just doesn’t work for me.
Maybe you are the same.
Sometimes it is easier to take some of my “planner things” and put them in a separate place. It sounds a little contradictory for someone who likes to keep things simple. But really, this is more simple for me because I’m not overwhelmed with information when I open up my regular day to day planner.
The Petite Planners and On the Go Folio from Erin Condren have been so perfect for this balance. I love, love, love the size of the Petite Planners. They are small enough to toss in your bag, but still hold all the information I need for a certain area of life. Even the On the Go Folio is easy to carry around, and that holds four Petite Planners.
And today the new line of Petite Planners and On the Go Folios are launching on the Erin Condren Website! I love this launch because I love to see the new designs and the new options for Petite Planners.

New On the Go Folio
Each year they come out with new designs for the On the Go Folio. The one I have to show you today is the Mid-Century Circles pattern, with a pink interior. Its actually more of a peach-ish pink, which I love! We don’t often see the warmer pink tones, and I love how they have incorporated it on this Folio!
The On the Go Folios are a Traveler’s Notebook style system using elastic strings to hold in multiple notebooks of your choice. I love this system because it makes it easy to customize and have exactly what you need with you, but it still keeps them all in one book. Plus, if you fill up one book/section or realize that you need something different, you can easily exchange it with another notebook without having to change out your whole planner.
I use these to supplement my regular daily & weekly planner because I can add in notebooks and planners for certain categories (like meal planning), and give them their own dedicated space. It keeps my regular planner free from chaos, but still gives me the space I need to properly organize my life.
New Petite Planners & Journals
First let’s talk about the difference between Petite Planners and Petite Journals. Most of the Petite Journals are more freestyle with some style of note pages inside (lines, dot grid, blank, or productivity). But there are some that are more structured, but because of the purpose behind them, they are still considered journals. Two of these I’m going to show you today: the Travel Journal and Plant Log Journal.
The Petite Planners are not only structured, but they do have more of a planning theme to them. I have three of those to talk about, the Meal Planner, Budget Planner, and Wellness Log. An important feature of the Petite Planners that the Journals don’t include is that in the back there is always a pocket and a sheet of stickers.
Other than that, I think they all have the same number of pages, and the same amazing quality.
Mid Century Circles Petite Journal (Productivity Layout)
The Petite Journals have always been one of my favorites to use. This is because they are such a great size and are so flexible for any use. I love to use them for a specific topic or project that I’m working on.
The Mid Century Circles Petite Journal comes with the productivity layout inside. The left side of the page is a regular lined page. But the right side has a lined section, and a checklist on the right edge.
This layout is great for projects because you have space on each page for notes, and for a to do list.

Meal Planner (Petite Planner)
I love the Erin Condren Petite Meal Planner! It is the perfect layout and I hope they never change it! I’ve never found a meal planner that helps me stay organized as well as this one!
The left side has space to plan for a weeks worth of meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My preference is to not plan for each meal though and use each layout for 2-3 weeks of dinners.
The right side has a grocery list and a meal prep notes section. I think the notes section is such a great idea! I love prepping ingredients and even meals ahead of time. Having a place to make notes of what I plan to do is so helpful!
Budget Planner (Petite Planner)
The Petite Budget Planner is perfect for keeping your budget and spending trackers with you, but without taking up a lot of space. Budgeting is definitely something that I need to keep in a separate planner from my daily planner if I want to stay organized.
This is a 12 month planner with space for your budget, special things to keep note of for each month, and 4 pages of spending trackers. It’s everything you need to make sure your budget is on track for the month.
I love the simplicity of this budget planner. Complex systems may look so appealing, but often they just lead to nothing getting done because it’s too much work to figure out. This budget planner has all the bases covered, gives you what you need (including blank spaces to personalized), and leaves out all the excess.
Wellness Log (Petite Planner)
The Wellness Log is another Petite Planner that I hope they never change the layout of! It is all inclusive of everything to track your basic health needs and stay organized with your wellness.
Each spread allows for one week of tracking. The left side has space for your exercise/activity, steps, sleep, and water intake. On the right side you can track your meals for the week.
Each month also has space for progress updates and goals. It is so important to re-evaluate and adjust your goals as you make progress. Knowing what works and what doesn’t can help you to adjust for next month.
Plant Journal (Petite Journal)
I’m so excited about the Petite Plant Journal! I’ve been thinking about making something like this for myself, so this was perfect timing!
The left side has plenty of room for all the info about each individual plant, plus room for notes. And the right side is a watering tracker (for all of us that can’t remember when we last watered or how often each plant needs it).
I also love that the pages have cute little plant drawings! And they are different on each page.
This Plant Journal works for both indoor plants and gardening. I love gardening, so that’s what I plan to use it for. I’m glad they added in note space too, because that is where I can add more details about what each plant needs.
Travel Journal (Petite Journal)
The Petite Travel Journal has room for multiple trips, and would be so convenient for keeping together all the details for your travel.
I love all the details that you that there is space to track in this travel planner to help you stay organized. Not only are you able to note your reservation details and packing list, but there is also space for memories, and even pictures. This travel journal can even be a type of scrapbook.
Using the Petite Planners to Stay Organized On the Go
The size of the Petite Planners make them perfect for taking with you to stay organized on the go. I love how even in a full On the Go Folio, it still fits perfectly in this Clear Stadium Bag from Erin Condren. In the past, I’ve tended to stay away from clear bags because mine tend to be just a jumbled mess on the inside. But I’m just obsessed with how cute the On the Go Folio looks showing through!
I never realized that it would be so fun to decorate your bag from the inside out. But with the cute designs of the On the Go Folios, it’s the perfect match for your beautiful planner to shine through.
The straps on this (and most EC bag) are interchangable, so you can find the ones that match your style and occasion. You might want something different for going on vacation than you would for going to work. The interchangable straps make it easy to switch between designs.
Stay Organized On the Go
The Petite Planners, Journals, and On the Go Folio System make it so easy to stay organized when you are active and busy. These are simple planners that give you the organization that you need, without having to cram it all into your weekly or daily planner.
Plus the flexibility of the Folio allows you to change out the planners as you fill them up, or when your needs change. But they are still kept together to keep you functioning and on top of every aspect of your life.
Let me know in the comments, what Petite Planners do you use (or would like to have)? Or do you have a Petite Journal obsession like me?
