Erin Condren is releasing their sixth installment of the Heritage & Awareness Month series, and second annual collection for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month that occurs during May. This year’s collection features two amazing artists: Lauren Hom (@homsweethom) and Cynthia Koo (@wontoninamillion).

As always, this collection will give back 35% of the net proceeds through the end of May 2022 to a nonprofit that supports the AAPI community, and will support the amazing artists behind this collection for a full year!

Lauren Hom

Lauren Hom (find her on Instagram @homsweethom) is making her second appearance as a featured artist in an Erin Condren collection.

Lauren’s bright, fun designs remind me of summer, and just all the goodness that life has to offer. I love that her designs were inspired by her grandmother and memories they had as children. I have been lucky to have amazing relationships with my grandmothers too and have similar memories from when I was a kid. So hearing her story just gave me all the happy feels!

Squeeze the Day

The first design is called Squeeze the Day. I love the play on words, and the bright oranges and leaves with juice droplets. This design feels playful and bright. And like I mentioned earlier, both of Lauren’s designs remind me of summer.

This design is available with three different background colors to choose from: emerald (shown below), orange, and cornflower.

Life is Sweet

Lauren’s second design is named Life is Sweet. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits. When you get just the right one, it is perfectly sweet and so good! This design is definitely appropriately named. And I love that the pattern in the background looks like juice drops!

This design is also available with three different colored backgrounds: iris (shown below), seafoam, and mauve.

Cynthia Koo

Cynthia Koo (@wontoninamillion) is the founder of Wonton in a Million, that was inspired by the Dimsum while eating in her father’s restaurant.

The details on both of Cynthia’s designs are so amazing! I just love them!

Jade

Jade is definitely my favorite. I really do love them all, but this one is just hard to beat. I love everything about it! The cute little dimsum character, the cherry blossoms, the Chinese characters and motifs. And the colors with gold accent foiling. It’s just so beautiful!

You get to choose between three background colors: orchid, seafoam (pictured below), and steel blue (which actually looks more turquoise to me).

You can also get matching washi tape from the Wonton in a Million shop!

Dimsum Steam Team

And of course the adorable Dimsum Steam Team. This design features a series of dimsum characters, each with their own individual kawaii face.

I love how both sets of designs were inspired by family and food. I love that both artists are able to share their culture and memories with us through their art.

These designs are available on planners, notebooks, and covers in all three sizes: A5, 7×9, and 8.5×11 inches.

New Canvas Tote Bags

In addition to these designs being available on planner and notebook covers, Erin Condren is also releasing a new Canvas Tote Bag. These new bags will be available with each of the four new designs (and hopefully more to come).

They are 100% cotton canvas. The bottom of the bag unfolds so the bag will stand up flat. It is 14.5 inches wide, 15 inches high and the bottom of the bag is 7 inches deep. This is a really good size bag with tons of room!

The one I have below is Jade, which we’ve already established that I love.

Metallic Markers

If you’re looking for a fun new pen to spice up your planner, I love these new Metallic Markers! Don’t let the skinny pen shape fool you, these have a bit of a thicker tip similar to a worn-in Sharpie. And my favorite feature…. they write on black paper!

Continuing to Make a Difference

Over the years I’ve watched how Erin Condren is giving back and supporting many causes and organizations. I love to see how they continue to support different organizations and causes.

This is something that has been going on for many years, although they have completely ramped it up over the past two years and regularly create collections like this that give back to the community. If you’d like to see all the current collections that give back, you can check them all out here.
